Year 10 Soccer team progress to the Semi-Final Stage of the NI Schools Cup

Congratulations to the Year 10 Soccer team who have secured a place in the semi-finals of the Northern Ireland Schools Cup competition last Wednesday (25th February). Mr McGuiness describes the victory over quarter-final opponents Dromore High, as ‘nothing short of epic!’

The College team went a goal down after five minutes, but a stunning volleyed equaliser from Sean Duffy levelled the game and with just two minutes left, the Duffy scored again with an ambitious overhead kick that beat the Dromore goalkeeper and won the tie.
