Martin McMullan Year 8 Race

Tuesday 20th September was the date for the annual Year 8 race in memory of former pupil Martin McMullan. There was a terrific atmosphere as the boys gathered in the sports hall with a great sense of anticipation and excitement.

All 155 boys set off for Mallusk Playing Fields, the venue for the last number of years. When the boys arrived at Mallusk, Mr.McKillop had already set the course up with the assistance of a number of our junior athletes.....the excitement grew!

Clearly Miss Artherton's training programme helped 8A to the title! A huge congratulations to all the boys for a tremendous effort and superb behaviour on the day. The medals will be distributed at a special assembly alongside special spot prizes. These spot prizes will recognise the efforts of those boys who perhaps finished outside the medals but nonetheless tried extremely hard.
