The individual and collective accomplishments of talented and inspirational former staff and students over the decades is not only central to the College’s unique musical legacy, but to its future.

 

We aim to actively celebrate and promote our renowned musical heritage by:

 

• re-establishing and forging stronger links between our College family and former parents, staff, Old Boys and new friends

• inspiring today’s young musicians by sharing this legacy with them so that they can aspire to achieve their full potential and their Glory from within, and continue the great musical traditions of St. Malachy’s College

 

We encourage all former students and staff to reconnect with their old Music Department – we want to hear from you!

• Performing at our biennial Alumni Recital

• Giving a careers talk or masterclass to our students

• Donating old instruments or music books

• Supporting a scholarship/bursary for instrumental/vocal lessons

• Supporting the cost of a new instrument or sheet music

• Setting up a stand at our very popular annual Careers Fair
