After a week of tireless campaigning, the ballot papers have been counted and the Year 8s have spoken. The results of the vote were announced at assembly on Monday 22nd September.

At the presentation, Mrs Moorehead commented on the impressive political skill demonstrated by all the young men who vied for the coveted positions. In what was described as a fair and democratic election process, the successful candidates (who will take up their duties with immediate effect) were named as:

8A Joe McKinney and Brandon Varndell

8B Ronan McMahon and Callum Hillis

8C Jamie Goodwin and Rory Higgins

8D Dylan McLarnon and Shea Walsh

8E Jude Rooney and Deáglan Burns

The worthy recipients received their badges and vowed to serve their College, class and year group with honour and integrity. We extend a hearty congratulations and wish them all the very best.
