Congratulations to Year 10 mathematician Liam Brady, who this week, received his certificate at assembly for participation in the Junior Mathematics Olympiad at the end of last term.

In order to qualify, (and here is the Maths bit) Liam was placed among the top twelve hundred students (out of approximately a quarter of a million) in his age group who entered the UKMT Challenge last year. Only the top 25% were awarded medals; the rest received certificates – therefore an impressive achievement indeed! Well done.
