The College’s A Level Drama students were a little star-struck this Friday when past pupil Rhys Dunlop visited his former alma mater to discuss his recent performance in The Lyric Theatre, Belfast.
Rhys, a graduate of the prestigious Lir Academy in Dublin, kindly took questions about his first professional job since Drama school – a month long run of Simon Stephens’ challenging play about teenage life: Punk Rock, which A Level Drama students attended in September. Rhys shared his experiences about applying for Drama school and gave some advice to current Year Fourteens about choosing audition pieces. We are most proud of Rhys’ success and will follow his career with interest. Watch this space!
