Year 14 students (who currently study Economics at Belfast Royal Academy as part of our collaboration programme) visited IKEA last week. The purpose of the visit to the famous Swedish company was to explore into IKEA’s approach to business.
Students donned fluorescent yellow vests as they enjoyed a tour of the store. They were accompanied by Nigel McGarry (a manager at IKEA) and given some insight into how it is possible to achieve cost savings through recycling without compromising on quality.
