On Friday 17th April, Oisin Thompson represented The College in the Ulster Final of Gael Linn’s prestigious Abair Public Speaking Competition in An Carn, Maghera. Oisín shared his thoughts about the recent university tragedy in Garissa, Kenya, with all the other regional winners. Despite fierce competition from students from all over Ulster, including students from the Gaeltacht and other Irish medium schools, the Irish Department are very pleased to announce that Oisín won the coveted first place!
