Last week, the College’s junior golfers competed in the Darren Clarke Schools Golf League final against Abbey Grammar, Newry at Lisburn Golf Club.

The final was close throughout, however the boys from Newry just pipped the College at the post winning 4-3. European Ryder Cup Captain, Darren Clarke was on hand to present the team with their runner-up trophies and goodie bags of Under Armour bags, belts and polo shirts!

Mr Fulton commended the boys on their excellent sportsmanship and extended a special thank you to Mr Gerry McStay of St Patrick’s, Keady who organises the league. Mr Fulton went on to highlight ‘the terrific record’ maintained by the College in the competition having been winners on two occasions in the last four years.
