On Monday the 27th the College Jazz band took part in the yearly Youth Jazz Showcase for Northern Ireland. The event took place in the Black Box Belfast and featured schools, universities and the Ulster Youth Jazz orchestra.

The event was organised by Ken Jordan who conducts the UYJO and also the excellent Big band from Methodist College Belfast. The night was a great success with superb performances from all those involved. Despite being outnumbered by some of the larger groups our pupils did themselves proud and finished the evening with three stirring performances!

A great event for ideas and future building ahead within the College Music Department!
