Over the past three days, a team of four of our Digital Leaders, Sean-Pearse O'Reilly, Brendan Rogan, Andrew McCarney and Peter Turner, have been participating in the PWC Hive Tech Academy competition.

Their task was to design a product which solves a common problem and pitch it to a panel of 6 "Dragons". Our boys sailed through the first pitch to the final, where they pitched against 3 other schools in front of 12 "Dragons" and an audience. They were fabulous, keeping their nerve throughout the whole competition and were announced winners yesterday afternoon!

It was a invaluable experience for the boys. They each received a £50 Amazon voucher, medal and certificate as well as the Hive Tech Academy cup. They have also been invited to the Catalyst Inc innovation park next week.
