8A: Jack Griffin

Jack has a fantastic merit record for excellent effort, academic excellent, showing initiative and courtesy. He is extremely kind and respectful to staff and students alike. Jack can always be relied upon and has shown great leadership qualities since starting St Malachy’s College. He is a shining example to his peers.

8B: Odhran Kavanagh

Odhran is a very pleasant student who has become involved with the extra-curricular life of the College. He is a great friend to the other boys in the year group and has settled in very well.

8C: Owen Paul

Owen is a considerate, well-mannered young man who has made a brilliant start to his time in the College. He has involved himself in a number of different activities and has already achieved an outstanding merit record.

8D: Paul Hughes

Paul is a very pleasant and enthusiastic young man. Throughout September he has shown great resilience. He always has a smile on his face and gives of his very best. A role model for others.

8E: Joe Brolly

From the very first day Joseph has demonstrated the qualities needed to become a true Malachian. Joseph has made a conscious effort to become involved in several clubs and is a regular attendee at the Folk group, Traditional group, Year 8 Basketball, and Year 8 Hurling. Joseph is a hard-working and diligent student who has transitioned fantastically, immersing himself into life at St Malachy’s College.
