8A: Jake Massingham

Jake has had a fantastic start to Year 8! He has an excellent merit record and has shown great commitment to a range of extra-curricular activities. He is one of the most well-mannered and pleasant students in the whole College and should feel very proud to know that his friendly demeanour cheers everyone up!

8B: Declan McAuley

Declan has a perfect merit record. He has obtained 13 merits and no demerits! He always tries his best, and completes all homework tasks and class work to a high standard. He is a very good friend to other boys in his Year group and displays all the traits of a true gentleman. He has also become involved in rugby since joining St. Malachy’s College.

8C: Beon Benoy:

Beon is a good friend to all in his form class and helpful to members of staff. He is a polite and well-mannered young man who has made an excellent start to his time in St. Malachy's College.

8D: Leo Mallon:

Leo is an outstanding young man who recently represented St. Malachy's College with distinction on a visit to his former Primary School, Sacred Heart. He always greets staff and peers with a great smile and is a great friend to everyone in 8D.

8E: John McKay

John has been working hard throughout his first few months at St Malachy’s College and this has been reflected in the grades he received in his controlled assessments. As well as this, John also takes part in several school clubs and is always willing to try new things and make new friends. He is a well-mannered, polite and diligent young man who always has a smile on his face and is not afraid to ask for help when needed.
