Finn Diver won the Senior Boys race at the Clonliffe Harriers XC Invitational in Dublin. Finn tucked in the leading group over the first two of four laps, before pushing on over the 2nd half of the race to repeat the victory he achieved in the Intermediate age group last year. Adam McCann just missed a top 10 spot in 11th.
Jude McGann's fine 3rd place led the Intermediate team to a strong team win. Eoin McConnell was just behind in 4th and Lorcan McCann finished 8th reaping the rewards of his recent consistent training. Casey Walsh and Ben Neal ran strongly in 13th and 14th in their first year in this age group.
The Junior team (Yr10) claimed bronze with Tiernan Conway leading the way in 4th. He was in the top 3 throughout the race and just missed an individual medal in a sprint finish. Se Sweetnam and Cillian McMullan fillowed in 11th and 13th. The year 9's finished 5th in the closest of races where the top 5 teams were separated by a mere 4 points. Cormac Leheny (4th) and Thomas Coy (8th) ran well to claim top 10 finishes. Patrick Hume completed the scoring trio in 21st with both Leo McAuley and Eoghan Hanna close behind.
The year 8's gained valuable experience in their first race for the College. James Rafferty impressed in 8th with Lucas Mooney 14th, Reuben Carrington 18th, Ethan Lavery 21st and Keagan O'Connor 25th all competing well.
